This photo was taken September 17, 2008, during the rising of a full harvest moon. Our first glimpse of it was a bright red orb just peeking over the top of the Lincoln memorial... I will try to get more pictures up. Beautiful sight!

I've had Sept. 15 marked on my calendar all summer for exactly such a picture. Sadly, I was in bed with a head cold. :-(
