My photo "Old Waffle Shop", which features the classic 1950s diner in Penn Quarter located across the street from Ford's Theater (site of Lincoln's assassination), is a finalist in the July "Best Photo" contest at Washingtonian magazine. If it wins, it will be published in the September issue!

As former Washingtonian winner, I think this photo is tops. Make sure you check out the "Wafle" shop in Arlandria -- it's still open.
