The Washington, DC metro area received around 18" of snow in 24 hours this past weekend. For most of us, including myself, it was a good excuse to leave the car parked and stay home in our pajamas all day, wrapping Christmas gifts and catching up on things around the house. I did manage to bundle up and get outside for a few photos on Saturday afternoon, just as the snow was beginning to taper off. A few shots are featured here, and the full gallery is available on flickr.
Thank you to DCBlogs for including the above photo in DC Blogs Noted for December 21, 2009.

MARVELOUS pics!! I especially liked the one of the row houses in my neighborhood of Foggy Bottom. Keep up the good work!
I'm still using a PowerShot A560 but seriously considering something more serious. You inspire me to go ahead and DO IT!! Maybe this amateur just needs a better camera . . .
Great pictures. That jogger looks a lot like one I got a picture of down by the Tidal Basin, but through all the snow who can really tell. The FB Rowhouses shot is a great mix of colors and snow.

Through a series of blog hopping I came across yours and was drawn to it for its name. As I was in DC on the Friday before this pictured snow storm, it was fun to view the city under a cover of white. Thanks for sharing with us. Trish
